The space

Our studio is equipped with both the large apparatus — including the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, High Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, and Pedi-Pole — as well as the smaller apparatus such as the Magic Circle, Foot Corrector, Toe Corrector, Neck Corrector, Breath-A-Cizer, and Small Barrel. Every session takes place in a calm, focused setting with a maximum of six clients, so each person receives individual attention and real-time corrections throughout.

The full set of classical apparatus — large and small — exactly as Joseph Pilates intended.

Maximum six clients per group session — small enough for genuine individual guidance in every class.

Located in the heart of Wels, Upper Austria — Bäckergasse 4, with easy access and on-street parking nearby.

The large apparatus

Every piece of equipment in the studio was designed by Joseph Pilates to challenge the body in a specific way. Together they form a complete system.

Reformer

The most versatile piece of the system. Spring resistance and guided movement provide both support and challenge — suitable exercises from your very first session through to advanced body work.

Cadillac

The largest piece of apparatus in the Pilates system. Ideal for spinal articulation, muscle activation, and gentle stretching. From introductory exercises — e.g. after injuries — through to advanced suspension work.

Wunda Chair

Compact but demanding. Builds functional, real-world strength, balance, and coordination through precise, spring-loaded movements.

High Chair

Especially effective for postural correction, leg and hip strengthening, core control in an upright position, and prevention with controlled muscular resistance.

Ladder Barrel

For deep backbends, lateral stretches, and spinal flexibility — a piece often missing in modern studios, but essential to the classical system.

Spine Corrector

Shaped to match the natural curve of the spine. Stretches the chest muscles, for example, improves posture, and helps you breathe more deeply and easily.

Pedi-Pole

Develops balance, upright posture, and shoulder stability in a standing position — connecting the work to how you move in daily life.

The smaller apparatus

Complementing the large equipment, these precision tools target specific areas of the body and refine the quality of every movement.

Magic Circle

A flexible resistance ring that enables challenging arm, leg, and core exercises.

Foot Corrector

Strengthens the arches and foot muscles — the foundation of posture and alignment.

Toe Corrector

Aims to strengthen and stretch the toe muscles, with a conscious focus on foot mechanics for improved balance and a better gait.

Neck Corrector

Supports correct cervical alignment and strengthens the deep muscles of the neck.

Breath-A-Cizer

A breathing device that trains deeper, more efficient respiratory patterns.

Small Barrel

A compact piece for spinal extension, side stretches, and targeted flexibility work.

Why our equipment matters

We use only the highest quality, hand-crafted equipment — because in classical Pilates, the equipment is not just a tool, it is part of the method itself.

Each piece is carefully made using traditional designs, with precision, durability, and integrity in mind. This ensures that every movement feels exactly as it was intended: smooth, controlled, and deeply connected to the muscles.

A key element of this quality lies in the steel springs. They are expertly engineered to provide your muscles with consistent, balanced resistance — not too heavy, not too light, but precisely calibrated to support and challenge your body.

Not all Pilates equipment is made to the same standard. Lower-quality or mass-produced pieces often lack the precision required for classical work, particularly in the steel springs. When resistance is uneven or unpredictable, it can affect centring, disrupt the flow of movement, and place unnecessary strain on the body.

With our high-quality equipment, you experience

  • Fluid, uninterrupted motion
  • Precise feedback from your body
  • Deeper muscle engagement
  • Safety and control

This level of craftsmanship allows you to feel your work more clearly, progress more quickly, and connect physically more deeply to the classical Pilates method. Because when the equipment is right, your body can move exactly as it was designed to.
